Meadowind Miniatures
Meadowind Miniatures is located in Carman Manitoba and began raising miniature horses in 1990 as a family venture and has become well respected in the Miniature Horse Industry.
Our horses are all AMHA, AMHR or ASPC registered. Our emphasis is on producing Miniature Horses with high quality conformation, wrapped in vibrant colours.
We have a passion for driving and for over 15 years were the proud owners of Manitoba's only Miniature Eight Horse Hitch, all registered black geldings.
Whether you're looking for a show horse, a family favourite or simply a back yard pet, you need to plan a trip to the pastures of Meadowind Miniatures to pick a winner.
What begins as a pastime just might become a passion.

Meadowind Lil Toy Sandman
1997 Buckskin (AMHA)(AMHR) 33.5" 2 x HOF, 1 Silver HOF

Sandman is our first home grown Meadowind driving horse.
His gentle disposition and friendliness have earned him quite a fan club in Manitoba and Saskatchewan!
A consistent winner throughout the province in roadster, pleasure, and obstacle driving;
and he holds the honour of high point performance horse at many levels.
In addition to achieving a Canadian Championship in Roadster, Sandman has achieved his Hall of Fame in both Country Pleasure and Roadster.
In 2008 he entered a new era! He became our 3 year old granddaughter,
Kiera's lead-line and costume horse. She began her driving career with Sandman at the age of 4 and her brother Jaron followed in her footsteps. Sandman took countless people on their first drive in the show ring and on the farm, He now enjoys a well earned retirement, with the occasional drive for excited school kids or farm visitors.
Noblebrook CNR Sailor
2012 Pinto (AMHR)(ASPC) 37.5"

Sailor came to us through a trade for another gelding.
Little did we know what a great addition he would be to our herd!
With Arenosa breeding on both his top and bottom, he brings with him style and class.
Rod had lots of fun breaking him to drive with his flair for excitement. Then our granddaughter Kiera took the reins and enjoyed the ride too!
In 2018, Kiera and Sailor went the AMHR Nationals and they came home with a Reserve National Champion in Country Pleasure. What a thrill!
