Here at Meadowind Miniatures we take pride in raising AMHA & AMHR Registered Miniature Horses with quality conformation and versatility wrapped in vibrant colours.

We specialize in driving horses including pleasure driving, roadster driving and we're proud of our multiple hitches of Registered Miniature Horses.

We have recently revised our breeding program to concentrate on miniatures that are bred for driving. We have acquired 6 Grandaughters and 1 Grandson of the famous Rhotens Little Dandy. We will have a "Dandy" driving program!

We also have Grandsons of Buckeroo, Martins Boozer after Dark, Shadow Oaks Top Banana Rhotens Little Dandy and Bond Dynamo to take us into the next phase of our program. Along with Granddaughters of Rowdy, Rhotens Little Dandy, Sid's Rebel, L&D Scout, Magic Man of LTD , Prince Tennessee of Monashee, Orion Light Vant Huttenest and Gold Melody Boy we expect to turn heads when we hit the show ring.

We are pleased to present the only Manitoba Miniature Eight-Horse Hitch, which made its debut in 2000. We have appeared in many parades and special events including the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair, the Red River Exhibition, the Manitoba Clydesdale Classic and 2006 AMHR Nationals in Tulsa OK, where Rod gave some driving demonstrations with his Eight Horse Hitch. We have attended the 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 Minnesota State Fair, where we appeared daily in the fair parade with our hitch! The Meadowind Hitch will be returning to the Minnesota State Fair from August 21 to September 1, 2008.

We have attended the Austin, MB, Threshermen's Reunion, from 2000 - 2007 where we gave driving demonstrations and appeared in the daily parade.
